Film reels also come in a variety of sizes.  Use this table to identify the length of your film.

• 3 inch reel – 50 feet (3:00-3:30 mins)
• 4 inch reel – 100 feet (6:00-7:00 mins)
• 5 inch reel – 200 feet (12:00-14:00 mins)
• 6 inch reel – 300 feet (18:00-21:00 mins)
• 7 inch reel – 400 feet (24:00-28:00 mins)

After you’ve identified all your film gauges and reel sizes, make a list of your inventory.  Then use this form to add up the number of film items (and other media in your order) and to alert us of your interest in our film transfer services. If possible during your inventory process, make personal notes about the content of each film reel, including dates, subject matter, and shooting locations.  This will help with your later transfer decisions.

Packaging and Shipping

Package your media in a sturdy corrugated cardboard box and cushion the contents with bubble wrap.  Ship your media to Bevara Digital via FedEx, UPS or USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes to assure tracking of your valuable shipment.  Shipping of your original media and transferred materials back to you is free of charge and included in the cost of your transfer services.

Of course, if you’re in the vicinity of our facility in Cheyenne, WY, we’ll be happy to arrange pickup and delivery to your location.

When We Receive Your Materials

When Bevara Digital receives your order, you’ll receive an email confirming the contents of your shipment, your order number, and a delivery date for your finished order.  After confirmation of your order, Bevara Digital will collect 50% of the order fee before your order processing begins.  Visa, Mastercard and PayPal payments are accepted.

Processing Your Order

All film will be inspected, cleaned, repaired (if necessary) and transferred using Bevara Digital’s high definition, frame-by-frame technology.  Every reel of film receives the same high-quality handling and transfer service Bevara Digital is known for.  During the processing of your order, you will receive status update emails.

Finishing Your Order

Every reel of film is returned to you, cleaned, repaired, and ready for long-term storage.  Whether you order DVD’s or external drives to contain your digital files, your order will be safely shipped via UPS or FedEx and a tracking number emailed to you.

Order Follow-up

All digital file orders are kept for 60 days.  During that period, you’re welcome to order additional DVD or hard drive copies.  Bevara Digital is also happy to answer questions, discuss editing, or consider other custom services to enhance the enjoyment of your content.
